Last Saturday near Seymour, Indiana, a 27-year-old woman while driving a Red Chevy Truck rear-ended the driver of a silver Ford who was stopped for a vehicle in front waiting to turn.  Following the initial collision, the 27-year-old woman then crossed over the center of the road into oncoming traffic before head-on colliding with a Hyundai. As a result of the collision the two passengers in the Hyundai, a 24-year-old woman and her 27-year-old passenger were pronounced dead on the scene while the driver of the Chevy Truck was transported to IU Methodist Hospital with serious  personal injures.

Distracted driving and rear-end collisions are some of the most common, yet preventable, collisions that occur on the road today.  Although, many rear-end collisions often produce only minor damage to vehicles, some as demonstrated may result in serious and fatal injuries.
