chicagobreakingnews.com reports: Amsden, the service truck driver, parked his Ford pick-up behind the semi. He was between the truck and the semi when a Land Rover–driven by J Cleary, struck the truck’s left rear side, pushing it into the rear of the semi. Amsden was crushed and killed.
Cleary was attempting to merge south onto I-65 from Ridge Road. The impact of the crash caused the Land Rover to roll over. Cleary was not injured, as was previously reported, and taken to Lake County Jail. The driver of the semi was also not injured.
