This month the National Safety Council (NSC) sponsors the National Safety Month to bring awareness and focus on reducing leading causes of death and serious injuries on the road, in the workplace, and our communities.  This year’s theme is “What I live For”, which encourages individuals to share their own experiences discussing the importance of safety within their own lives.  Additionally, the NSC in celebrating National Safety Month has created new resources, tip sheets, safety checklists, and infographics to provide necessary information highlight issues concerning safety.  During each week of this month, the NSC will focus on a different topic concerning safety such as the following:

  • Slips, Trips, and Falls
  • Being Aware of Your Surroundings
  • Putting an End to Distracted Driving
