On Wednesday morning, around 2:16 a.m., the police were called to Osceola on Ash Road and Vistula Road. A driver had crashed into the Midway Bait and Tackle shop and the building, as well as, the car caught fire, and as a result, the driver of the vehicle died. An officer that was on the scene was sent to the hospital for treatment after trying to help the driver out of the burning vehicle and got lacerations to his hand. The owner of the Midway Bait and Tackle shop said that he does not care about the loss of his building, but he cannot stand that someone had died there. He has owned that building since 1999 and said that this was the 15th time that the building had been hit, so he was not shocked that this accident occurred. He also explained that Ash Road has been a dangerous road and has caused wreck after wreck for years. Hours later, following the crash into the bait shop, another accident occurred, and the drivers were sent to the hospital for minor injuries.

Drivers are put into uncomfortable situations when they are on a road that is shown to be unsafe, but drivers always need to stay vigilant no matter the circumstances. If it is known that a road can be dangerous to an individual on the road, one must take all cautionary steps.
