On Tuesday, August 4, 2020, around 2:00 p.m., a South Bend firefighter was killed in a motorcycle-vehicle collision in Mishawaka, Indiana. The collision occurred at 10th and Union Street, where the firefighter driving a Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling southbound in the right lane on Union Street near the aforementioned intersection. A Dodge Charger was driving westbound on 10th Street at the aforementioned intersection. The driver of the Charger remained at the scene of the collision to cooperate with the investigators.
