Attorney Dana Phillips joined Schiller Law Offices in January 2018. She has almost 10 years of practicing experience in Indiana and Illinois. Over 5 years of her legal experience includes dozens of bench and jury trials in both state and federal courts. Ms. Phillips has litigated on both sides of cases and understands how to zealously advocate on behalf of her clients’ best interests.
Dana received a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Science in Library Services with a Concentration in Law Librarianship from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. She received her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University McKinney School of Law where she served as President of the Student Bar Association. She was also a member of the National Security Moot Court Team and the Client Counseling Board.
Prior to joining Schiller Law Office, Dana was a general litigation associate at Lee, Cossell & Crowley, LLP focusing on civil litigation and criminal defense. She is a former Marion County Deputy Prosecutor and Staff Attorney for the Indiana Department of Child Services. Ms. Phillips is a member in good standing with all state and federal courts of Indiana and the Federal Bar of the Northern District of Illinois. She is also very active in her community. She is a past president of the Marion County Bar Association. Currently, she serves as a board member for We Care Indy, Inc., and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter.
