Indiana State Police reported a crash which resulted in fire and caused injuries on Wednesday 10/22/2014 The Driver of the Jeep Cherokee overcorrected causing the vehicle to roll over on the highway.
A Hyundai Santa Fe approaching oncoming traffic was unable to avoid the Jeep causing the Hyundai Santa Fe to go into a ditch. Unfortunately the driver of the Santa Fe vehicle was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Her two young sons who were 4 and 6 were pulled from the vehicle by bystanders just before the jeep caught fire. The children were thereafter airlifted to Riley Hospital to receive care.
