One person dead and another airlifted after a motorcycle crash on Sunday, September 28th in Decatur County according to WishTv.com. The crash occurred at the intersection of US Highway 421 and CR 800 West around noon.
According to investigators, the cause of the crash was the motorcyclists disregard for a red flashing light. As semi-truck was attempting to pass through the intersection, the motorcyclist collided with the trailer portion of the semi. According to reports, the motorcycle slid on its side.
The female passenger on the motorcycle was pronounced dead on the scene, whereas the drive of the motorcycle was airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. There have been no reports of any other injuries to the Semi-truck driver.
